Default Engine miss

Hello all,
I have a 2001 V6 3800 camaro with a slight engine miss at idle. It is not noticeable while driving. If this miss is due to a burnt valve or head gasket issue, what would be the result if I continued driving the vehicle without making the repair. Thanks in advance for any information you provide.

I am not sure about your diagnosis, but a burnt valve or a bad head gasket will just get worse with time. A bad gasket can lead to coolant into the combustion chamber, and overheating, and all the bad things that go with them. A burnt exaust valve will just get worse, and the leaking hot gases can cut through the valve seat and eventually damage the head.
