Question engine build up

Ok so I have decided to beef up my current 350. It will be in a 1972 SS Camaro with a Muncie M20 and 3.42 rear end. I currently have 3 and 1/2 inch exhaust with an x pipe with flowmasters, preformer rpm intake with a Holley 1850s. Right now I got 600 bucks in my pocket right now and will have a few extra hundred bucks on the 15th. I will be driving this daily...so. Recommendations on what I should do? i.e. cam, heads, etc? Thanks and looking forward to y'all's recommendations.

I am currently looking at some used vortec heads for around 200, or some used 806 heads for 80 bucks(the guy is supposed to be getting me the actually casting #)

This is the correct forum. if its 600+ a few extra hundred ill assume around 900? that wont be enough for a full engine package, it will take at least a couple grand. You may be able to find a cheap cam but if you wanted to put a cam, you would need bigger heads and pistons to compensate for the different cam lobes, which is why your looking at the heads im guessing

A couple of grand. Man I am just looking to pep it up some. I'm not going for like 500+ hp. NastyZ28 guys js recommended a cam and some vortec heads and intake. They said it'd get me around 350 with a good tuned carb and good exhaust with headers.

That sounds right, I meant 2 grand if you want to replace the heads, new cam, tuned etc. If it's just cam and heads (If you can get a good deal on the heads and cam) around a grand
