Want too take all the emissions off my 1991 Rs .and just go down too the motor.does anyone know if I can take them off and if I have a computer on this car and what I can take off and still have it all run.Thankyou for any help

 

You try removing that so called emission crap and your car will run just like crap. Engine management for that car is controlled by the ECM (computer) .

 

No the car will not run at all.

 

I made it happen on my 1991 RS and the only thing the computer controls is the trans lock up and speedometer.
You must go to a carb and HEI Dist. Give me a call if you are interested in exploring further as I can send you all kinds of info on EFI to carb swap. In a nutshell I took the FI V6/700R4 out of the '91 and put a 305 carb/700R4 from an '84 back into it.
