Comp, Crane, Edelbrock, Lunati, they all make good cams. I would perfer a Comp or Lunati. To answer the other part, What kind of power are you looking for?

Talk to TSP (aka Texas Speed) or call Straight Line Performance, they have a nice cam grind that will help you get that 400 hp goal.

Are you an auto or a M6? A smaller cam would get better milage, and give you good power. I hate to tell you but if you want 400rwhp, your going to have to give up some gas mpg.

Well here We go again Boys and Girls, " I want My cake and eat it it too ". I want to run Top Fuel and not pay $ 35.00 a gallon for Nitro. If You want 400+ HP in Your LS1, Vampirex, Then do it and live with the gas mileage until You can get a Econo box for a daily driver. It's that simple.

And they use 8-10 gals a pass. Holy Sh*t!!!!!!! that's a lot of fuel. Have you ever stood next to a Fuel Car at the starting line. They blow raw fuel out the pipes sitting there at an idle.
