We got our new injectors into the Camaro this morning and it actually runs like it is supposed to. We had Accel 24# injectors in it before, but we had some serious problems with them. First off (first sign that we shouldn't have put them in) was that five of the injectors were one color and three were different. Yet all came in boxes that were identical to each other. Second sign, they didn't fit into the fuel rails quite right. Well now we have Racetronix/Delphi 26# injectors, the fuel pressure set at about 42 lbs./hr. and it runs great. I won't know for sure, because dad had to take it to the airport today. Guess I will have to wait until Saturday. Then we will change out the O2 sensor.

All I know is that the Accels were about 5mm shorter than either the Lucas or stock injectors [sm=badidea.gif] . Oh well, all is well now, except we have to put on a new MAF sensor now because ours finally decided to come apart.

Oh and I won't be recommending the Accels to any third gen owners any time soon.
