does any one have a camaro with a 4.3 v6 in it and post some pics of your 3rd gen

no i mean 4.3 and can you go from tpi 2.8 to tbi 4.3 with out changing alot of stuff

 

The 4.3 is a totally different engine design. Basically, it's a small block 350 with two cylinders missing. The bellhousing pattern is the same as a v8, so the smaller v6 trans won't match up.

 

i know all that i have a 700r4 im putting in it to i was wanting to know if you can take the tpi style 2.8 and change it to a tbi style 4.3

 

anything can be done...i don't really know why you would want to though. if i'm going through the hassle of swapping motors, then i'm throwing in a v8...just me though.

 

Not without swapping in a different computer compatible with the 4.3.
It would be a lot easier, and better performance wise, if you went with a carburetor and a stand-alone distributor. Any reason you want to keep the (cough, cough) TBI setup?

 

i mean you can make a 4.3 run like a raped ape...but put the same money into a 350 and you're going a whole lot faster. i just think you'd be wasting your money. however, part of me likes the idea of being different
