RE: 350
Is it a pontiac or chevy 350 they used both in pontiacs. I would caution you a bit if its a pontiac they are a bit more costly unless you are doing a stock rebuild and I think the transmission/bellhousings are a different pattern than your chevy.

Free is good. I think you may need to play around with moter mount locations I think they a different location but you can make it work. The 350 is kind of the odd one I ran 400s and a 455 before and my buddy just got a ventera with the 350 its actually a pretty nice car and runs good. The 350 pontiac has a bore of 3.85 and a stroke of 3.75, simiilar in bore and stroke to a 305 with a 400 crank, I like the pontiacs but they are getting scarce 455s are bringing good $$$ today.

RE: 350
Griff is 100 % right. It is completely different including the transmission bolt pattern. Buick-Olds-Pontiac had their own bolt pattern for some reason. Much, much more expensive to rebuild also. Best bet, get another 350 Chevy and rebuild that, much less expensive in the long term. Remember, Free isn't always the best deal.
