Default T tops

when i clean my glass i mostly get it spotless minus the t-tops. they seem to have these water spots on them i cant get off. is there anything i can use to take the spots out?

do you wash them then it comes back or are the spots always there no matter what then it may be the tint if there tinted

They are slightly tinted from the factory. And yes it is all the time, i hit them with invisible glass and they dont disappear.

then it could be the tint i dont know if you could remove the old tint and get it redone

if the spots are on the outside try a 50/50 mix of vinegar(sp) and water, used it on my car a couple days ago and it works fairly well

I had a '91 with the same problem with the factory tint. There was nothing I could do to get the spots off the glass. I think that when they installed glass in the t top frame it had to be wet or something. Beside the people in the factory putting the cars together, do you really think that they care what its looks like? Also do you have a different color on the glass like a stain it the best way I can explain it. I had that too and couldnt get it off tried all kinds of chemicals.

It may have been a flawed solution that they used when tinting that year's T-top glass.
