Default Paint chipping

So i have this problem on my 86 iroc. The paint on the front bumper is chipping. it is chipping in the corner of the light cavity and also on the paint itself. Im looking for the best way to stop the chipping and to match the color. Not sure if i should sand it at all or what. (it is also plastic)
Let me know it would be great, Thanks!

Chipping on plastic can almost always be traced back to either the incorrect primer to paint itself. Sanding and repainting is the only real fix. Anything else would just be a bandaid. If you plan on doing it yourself talk to you local paint supply store. Some of them are friendly to DIYers. Let them know the application and they can even scan your paint and mix up a match. Expect to drop $200-$300 in supplies.
