Fog lights on early 4th gen
Alright, one of my fog lights is smashed and still works somehowand I think the other one just has a dead bulb, I want to replace the smashed one so it will be in good cosmetic condition and I was wondering if there are replacement bulbs for fog lights...how much will this cost me in the end and can I do all the work myself?

Alright thanks, does the lens just come off with a screw driver or what?Sorry, I haven't had my Camaro for very long and haven't had much time to learn more about it.
And can anyone else help me out with replacing the smashed one?

You will have to remove the whole fog lamp. New OEM ones are a bit pricy, but people on eBay have some used (decent condition) for fairly cheap.

That should help you out a bit.

To get the actual foglight out is a PITA, there are two little clips on the side and then the aiming screw needs to come out too. I dont have pics, and its been a while, but if I remember right needle nose pliers and a flathead screwdriver should do the trick. The clips are the wierd ones where there is an outside casing sorta thing, with teeth to grab and hold teh pin inside it, and that makes a big bump a little ways bellow the head. Careful though, they arent indestructable. Otherwise it is fairly simple, just a little time consumeing.

Alright thanks guys. Do any of you think someone will be picky enough to not want the car just because the lens is smashed? I'm planning on re-selling it and I don't want to go through the hassle of replacing the whole thing just because of a cracked lens.

Ya you'll probably want to replace that, unless you start at the back of the car and show it back to front from the inside, seeing a smashed fog light right away will give a bad impression, just my 2 cents. And its relly not a huge hassle, it takes patience I should say.
