Looks pretty good!!! Lol a way to beat the sanding is get new drums.

True Norm>.. We'll call this one drum brakes on a budget ;-) I got the paint for free. My Dads friend works at advanced auto and the box said it was red when it was really black, so he gave it to me... I can't wait.... Two more weeks and its new front suspension and whatever else i can find to spend cold hard cash on the camaro.

Do you think painting the front calipers will be a faster process than those big *** rear drums?And when i go to accent it red do i need to resand it after I use the paint thinner? (probably not) just thought id check tho.

Well as long as they're clean and you're not sanding them 100% lol cuz it would actually take longer with all the misshapes. But if you're spraying them with minimal prep time, yes. And you do not have to re sand after paint thinner.

Sand blasting is another cost effective and quick way to clean rust off.

I also painted the diff cover on the S10 the same color as the calipers.
