Do broken MAFs, etc, cause blown fuses?

If my 98 base 3800 M5 keeps popping 20a fuses for the engine sensors, and I get P0102 codes for the MAP and MAF, does that mean the MAF or MAP themselves are causing the fuse to blow?
I'd hate to buy sensors, and still get blown fuses...
I have cleaned the ground wire, and the harness and plugin looks okay, but always pop that 20a fuse when I start the car.
Cleaned the MAF with CRC MAF Sensor cleaner, also.
Thanks!

Thanks. It did...
Yesterday I finally traced the O2 wire that was shorting, and the fuse remains intact.
Now I get P0102 MAF and#6 cyl misfire, so when my new MAF arrives, hopefully I'll plug n play!

I would like to thank you mloaks, because I didn't even think to check the fuse! I had a hand full of codes that were being thrown and was like are you effing kidding me!?! Haha! Thank you for unintentionally helping me!
