i have a test tomorrow @ 8 in the morning. it will run till around noon or so.. after that i got to go to olympia and get my bow tuned up with a new peep sight. hunting season is just around the corner....

that is exactly what its doing too.. which one of those components will do that???

Sorry gave you wrong info, was looking at V6 DTCs, so I deletet the posts. DTC 16 could be due to a bad Opti, or a wiring/ connector problem between Opti and PCM. Check Red/Blk wire from pin A on opti to pin B2 on PCM (Black Connector). Most likely a bad Opti, but should check out the wiring, just in case.

pete, he was having problems getting power to the ignition. would that set a dtc16?

Possible being that the PCM gets power from the ignition switch over fuse #5 (Inst Pan box), and then the PCM provides power for the opti (Red wire on Opti). Ign sw also provides power to the coil over fuse #11 (Under Hood box)

i will get some relays today at autozone or somewhere. I get to do the wonderful drive to sea-tac. from the coast of washington to the hussle and bussle... blah..

what dont like the 3 hour drive through seattle? lol, yah im a tokeland guy. not made for the big city.

okay i went ahead and ordered a new optispark through summit. should be here by wednesday or thursday. its not the MSD tho.. i couldn't afford it.
