Default De-Tune ECM

I was looking at gettting a 2001 Camaro Z28, however my parents dont want me to have all that power at once, because I have only been drving for 6 months, and I was driving a Hyundai Elentra, they are ok with me having the full power of the vehicle after i have drivin it for a while but they want me to start by drving the camaro De-Tuned I was wondering if there is anyway to accomplish this through the ECM. I saw that the SLP diablo sport had a Rev Limiter, is this the best thing i am going to be able to find?

I have a 2001 Z28. As long as the car didn't originally come with Z rated tires, it will have a governor on it. My car stops me at about 115-120. You'll still have the same acceleration but maybe the lower top speed will ease your parent's worries.

Your Chevy dealer can reflash the PCM and add the speed limiter option.

it must be nice to have your parents buy you a 2001 z28 when you've only been driving for 6 months... All I can say is if you don't respect something with that much horsepower, it will kill you...
