code 36?

Default code 36?

i pulled the code with my new scantool and it says, Code 36 Baro sensor signal low. Ok everywhere else i look a code 36 is a Distributor ignition system code. any ideas?

What year and engine, TBI, TPI, MPFI, Carb, etc..??

This is from the Factory Service Manual by GM. DTC 36 Distributor Ignition system (Faulty High Resolution Pulse or Extra Low Low Resolution Pulse Detected)

found my problem. The distributor shaft bearing is shot(msd pro billit, less than a year old. i did not install)and the rotor is wobbling all over the place. So i need a new opti.

You may just want to stick with a GM unit. IMO, MSD hasn't got the quality control part figured out yet. Again, that is just my opinion.
