Get a wide band O2 sensor. Drill a hole in your exhaust preferably before the cats. Weld in a bung for it to thread into. Then two to four wires come off of it (depends on what brand and of 02 sensor and gauge used) and then you'll have a power and ground to your gauge and then the the sender will hook up to the gauge.

Thanks Shnormo! By the way how much progress have you made on that 79? I love the 79-81 bodystyle. I hope to get one of those as my next camaro.

Well from the just the body, alot of progress. All body pannels are on it. I have to patch 2 holes still on the bottom behind the door. I just need to get the carrier bearings pressed in on the carrier for the rear axle and the pinion bearing. I got all the shims figured out. I had started wiring, the interior is all done, just waiting of the motor to get in. I got most of the parts for the motor, but it still has to be machined. Trans needs to be rebuilt too. Interior, only thing back in is the dash lol. Check out the car domain. When I get my camera back, I'll post the pics of the rear axle being reassembled.

Yeah I've been looking at your cardomain. I'll add you on my cardomain. Nice rear axle ;-) You got that like last week didn't ya? What color are you gonna go for? I like what you did with the Fuel pump,Fan,ignition, etc. What kind of shape is the interior in? if the seats are in bad shape or you just wanna do something different... i think a set of Four gen seats would look good in there. And I'm pretty sure they are a perfect fit If im not mistaken.

Yeah i just got the axles in last week. I think the 4th Gen seats would look good, but I need the provisions for a 5 pt racing harness. I threw the seats out long time ago. It's going to be a graphite metalic base coat with tungsten silver stripes (2 straight down the middle). If you look at the current color of the engine bay, that's the color I'm going with. I just finished patching the driver side floor board, now I'm moving onto the passenger side. Before I start putting everything else in, I'm going to get the seats and then the roll cage. I'm going to use outriggers so I can still have a head liner. No rear seat. I do want to fill it some how, but I don't quite know how to yet.
