i hate to burst your bubble Fern(actually it doesnt bother me ) but i was talking to my lt1 buddy on saturday who is an expert on lt1's and he said the edelbrock heads are actually worse than stock heads....

 

are you serious?! Fine just don't tell Whammer. He thinks they are the bomb and I'd hate to disappoint him. Wait! I thought YOU were an expert?!

Ditto. Got knowledge but no where near expert. Got the ED's at a hell of a price. A friend of mine who raced cars and built his own engines was going to polish and port them for me but at the last minute had to leave town and I already had my engine pulled when he backed out. I said screw it and dropped in the engine anyway. Wish I would have waited.
