OK, so what would be the point in this? If this is going to be a click type thing I do not want it here. What is going to be the requirment for membership and who decides who is in and who not? If it is just going to be another Off Topic type area I am going to say no, we already have one and adding another is just going to be more work for the Admins/mods, plus it is not needed. If you guys can show me a real plan of what this will be like, how it will be run andwhat it's use will be I will see about making it happen, untill then the answer is no.

I completely understand your concern about this issue. I see your point regarding just another point and click site. First off, Thank you for replying to the idea and hopefully we can come to agreement and make this happen. As you seen in the previous post we appears to have a great number of members that like the idea and are willing to put forth time and effort. Main requirement in order to become a member of the club would be: Must own or co-own a Camaro. This will rule out the “I am buying a camaro in the future members.” As for who comes in, there is going to be a Club Dues. For those who are serious about this the club, and want to contribute. Every member is required to pay a Yearly Due of $25.00. These dues are to be put forth to stickers, t-shirts, etc. Also put to the Forums. I know that there are no free domains in the World Wide Net. The Dues would be divided up $15 would go into the bank account and $10 would go to the Forums. Who will run this will be the members. I had the idea of a President, Vice President, Treasurer, Profile Coordinator, Monitors. Presidents job is to for see everything that goes on. Be in contact with the domain owner with members ideas. Vice President does everything that the President can do. Treasurer job would be to set up a banking account for all the members dues. The account would be under the car club name. This person needs to be trusted. There job consist of depositing the dues and writing checks off the account when needed. A copy of the statement would present on demand. Profile Coordinator job would be to update the profiles of the members rides. To add or delete the modifications of the car or to delete a profile. The Monitors job would be to make sure there is NO fighting in the club on the forums. We are here to represent the car and not to embarrass the club or camaro. I would like to be able to get with a part supplier and be able to get a discount for the members if we can promote there company. I understand that Meeting every member will be difficult but I am hoping to use the forums chat room as meeting once a month. Any ideas that you have would be greatly appreciated so that we as a team can make this happen. This is main plan and at anytime the plan can be changed due to the Forums and members liking. Camaro Forums would be the heart and soul of the club.

Ok. The only real trouble that I see is with the dues. This site is one amoung 25 or so owned by the same person, I can foresee some issues with a dues paying club, but that does not mean it is a no-go. What I can suggest is that we do a section similar to what our sister site Mustang Forums has. Basicly it's a section for track racers and you can only get in with a legit timeslip, we have stickers and perminant numbers for our cars. The point is that if I am at a track and a member here sees a MF deacal on my car they know that I am a member. We could try somthing similar here, and maybe just have members send in a donation for the decals at first, then see how things go. I will pass this all on to the right people.
