Default forum problems

I never received a activation email and when I click on my name it says I don't have sufficiant privlages and I basically can't do anything.

you have most likely figured this out but for those that would read this for info, you need more than 3 posts to access certain places. its to discourage spammers and such.

How did you log in here with a user name then, if you didn't activate your account? Shouldn't happen, unless something's changed from how it was when I joined.
