hey man, i was in the same boat. i had my subs installed professionally with full stinger wiring set up for 180, where as the wiring and **** from BEST BUY quality crap was like 100-110... so i got the best product you can buy professionaly installed for like 80 bux more then best buy quality and doing it myself
wanna come over and help me? Ive got a friend who installed a home entertainment sound system in his jeep, and laptop deck in the back which had wires that ran to the front to a touch screen he installed in his arm rest.. ill see if he can help lol

Sound deadening never hurt F bodies either

u will not have to replace all the speakers. if you have a factory amp you will probably have to bypass the amp. I had to in my old mustang and nobody made a kit, so it was just a matter of splicing everything together to run straight off the deck
Will an amp hook up to a factory bose radio? I dont have one i was just wondering, because im quite the audio guy myself.
Hey (cranmaro) love that color. Im trying to upload a pic of my system. Ill post it when i get it.

Audio Enhancers makes a custom box for the trunk, that comes in circular 10's and 12's. I droppedtwo 10" Kicker CVX's and a mono block kicker amp dunning 1500 watts RMS to the subs with Eclipse components and coax speakers off an Eclipse 4 ch. w/ my rear powered off my in dash pioneer monitor. Sounds nice, better than my factory monsson sound system ever did, and better than the bose one in my previous Z28. The box for the back really improved the quality of sound from my previous fiberglass one I made. I install this stuff for a living, you need any tips on wiring let me know. Downside to the Bose is that everything proprietary, the speakers and radio will only work with each other, so if one thing goes, and your going with aftermarket equipment, everythings gotta be replaced and the cars gotta be rewired, unlike the 98-02's with the monsson system, those you can use the factory amp with aftermarket equipment. P.S. Capacitors are worthless, if you end up getting diming w/ the lights go with a heavy duty marine battery or yellow top. Best Buy can't fix the stock Bose, you have to either get new bose speakers and a radio, send out the old ones to be rebuilt by Bose, or replace everything. I work for CCity, so I get about 75% off retail price on car audio products carried there. Truth be told its gonna be expensive either way, if you like the Bose then contact them, but with after market subs and equipment your gonna need some dynomat or fat mat, and your gonna end up adding unnecessary weight to the car.
Any way i can just get an oem delcobose deck and then amp+subs after that... my mustang ran on stock speakers ajensen head unit and2 10" pioneer imps and a Bolt amp... Anyway i can just stick with my speaks, get the oem deck and hook up amp+subs to that?
