what to do??
Ok so currently i have 2 kicker 12" subs in a box that wont fit in a camaro. I also have 3 kicker ZR-600 2 channel amps. ultimately my plan is to have 4 coaxial speakers amped and some kind of sub set up to get the bass. To do the 4 speakers i want to use a 4 channel amp which i dont have. (I could use two 2 channel amps but its just too much space). So im willing to sell two of the three amps i have. as for the subs ideally i would really only want to use one 12" to save space and weight. But the box that fits into the side of the trunk opposite the spare tire only fits a 10" which means buying a new sub and a box. The other option is a custom box to fit my 2 12's which isnt much more money.
I know im definately going to start off with the 4 channel ampa good head unit and 4 new speakers. but for the subs i just dont know.... I like good sounding music but the weight is a killer....

How about a custom box for just one of the 12's?
Picking up a 4 channel would be a good idea, but when you working in a hatch you rear speakers are virtually pointless. They're a filler, they make it harder to get your sound imaging right, your listening to stereo sound anyway, you dont need a rear stage, simply put.
So your 2 channels will work fine, now the coaxials are a bad idea. Pick up some component speakers, get a good front stage, simple single 12". You'll be all set.
