Default thinking of getting a new head unit and subs

ok so heres the question im going to pick up a new head unit from best buy since i have a friend who works there, and have them install it but i want to get some subs and dont want to take up the space for the t tops can i modify the trunk where there is all that space not being used to mold it in between the "back seat" and where the t top are placed?? because if not ill just end up upgrading speakers

Anything is possible, depending on budget.

If you find that you cant modify like you would like to I recommend you replace your speakers with a set of Kicker components, or Polk components(both should come with tweeters) you will get pretty good bass and also you will get your highs.

Get the stealth enclosure and just get the best 10" sub you can find. That way you can leave the t-top part available and have your sub out of the way.

exactly what silver said dude...they make custom camaro boxes or for any cars with a hatch so you can make the most out of your space. I think the highest they go in size is 12'. The only thing is they will run you a couple hundred but worth it if you would like to keep your t-top storage

Can be done, I used that empty space too, although several people have said that it's a major thief target.

Again like silver said you can get a nice set of ten inch subs. I work at Circuit City and right now they have a killer deal on Kicker Comp Subs 10" or 12" buy one get one free. 10" are 90 dollars each, 12" are 100 dollars each sale only goes for about another week though. Hope that's some help to you, if not it might be for whoever else reads this post.

Check out the JL Audio Stealthboxes, they might be worth a shot too.

www.subthump.com -- look at the f-body section for the trunk box+T-Top storage

Got a stealth box too.
