Default Subwoofer enclosure for convertible

I've got a 2000 Camaro Convertible, and just got my stereo upgraded. I put in a Kenwood headunit, Polk amp, and Alpine 12" sub. Mismatched ftw. Anyways, since I work at BB, I got it all installed and stuff, however, the box we have there didn't exactly fit my trunk right...it is currently resting up top, with space underneath and to the sides, basically making the whole thing unusable. With the trunk closed, it is about 3" give or take from the top. It hits pretty hard though (I'm not a huge bass guy, and I haven't even had time to test/tweak the thing since I just got it done tonight and don't want the neighbors getting angry). Regardless, I wanted to know if there is a box that properly fits the trunk? The sub is 7" (more like 6 and 3/8, but to be safe), and the measurement of the trunk is about a foot give or take.

On the other hand, I could possibly make one, as I'd have the workspace for it, I'd just rather not if possible.

Check this, but honestly I believe you will get better sound if the subs are in the well, instead of facing the rear:

I wouldn't get that box, it's not going to fit 12's. Other that that thing I do not know of any vert boxes. I would just build your own, it's not that bad to get to down in the well. Take a look at my setup on my cardomain page, link below. Ask any questions you got.

Not a bad idea since these cars are really only good for 2-seaters, but I don't think I would do it unless I had a full tonneau cover. Like the RK sports ones that cover up the back seat also.
