On your CD player, do you have an ATT button that will kill the boost? If not just go to your amp, theres a bass boost button( some you can twist with your hand, some you need screwdriver or allen wrenches) just turn the boost down or even off. It's simple and it won't take you but two seconds.

Well make up your mind before you drive, if you want the bass or not. if you want it turn the boost up if you dont turnit down. sorry i dont go as far as making personal switches in electronics, but hopefully this might get ya by.

or just buy a bass *** for your amp if its clarion they should sell them then you wire it from the amp to where ever you want in the dash and when you want bass twist it all the way up if you only want a lil twist it half way if you want no bass twist it to zero very easy and you wont look like an idiot while turning down the amp in a parking lot lol

no problem bro just didnt want you to have to keep a screw driver in the back so you can adjust your bass every other song haha

this is a simple job. there should be a remote wire on your amp (usually blue). it runs to your headunit or to your fuse box. i ran mine to the fuse box. whereever its ran buy a toggle switch and run the wire to it and then to your amp. ive got six 12's and i needed one for tha cops cuz they hate my system. ive got the loudest system in county right now.

I think this would be a good way to go, and it really isnt very hard.. The whole time I was reading this, I figured "just use a toggle switch" but was thinking of what tire to hook it up to.. until i read that i completely forgot about the remote wire.. sounds like a good plan.. Should be simple and nothing bad about it..not to mention cheap.. just pick up a toggle switch that you like at radioshack or something and there u go.. good thinking chadimus.
