the previous owners of my camaro pretty much killed the speakers so I'm going to change them. buuuut, about a million years ago i was given two 12inch speakers, so i have a friend that said he install them, but my question is-
are 2 speakers OK? or would i need 4? and is there a place that i have hide an amp in a 4th gen(96z)i don't want anyone to see that i have the amp because i don't live in the best part of the world.

 

wait...are you talking about door speakers? or subs? Anyways when you get an amp I mounted mine down where my t-tops sit in the hatch. You can just mount it on the sidewall which is plastic. This way it will look nice and it will be impossible to spot from the outside of your vehicle.

 

Two speakers will do but its not gonna sound the best. If you still have the little flap that covers the trunk area you could install them in that. My friend just did it in his acura and it looks sick plus sounds good if you want to replace all your other speakers too. As for the amp someone on the site gave this link and its sick.

Yeah the spare tire area is a great place to put an amp. In my bother's 95' he had a shelf built to put two ampsin there. Only downside is that you'll be stranded if you get a flat.

 

**** last time I got a flat I made my brother bring me a full size spare I had laying around the garage. NO WAY IN HELL am I driving my baby with a donut.
