my car is a 2k camaro ss vert. it has the monsoon sytem with steering wheel controls that i did not want to give up. if you have a vert the it only comes with 6 speakers no sub woofer.
what i did i replaced the door speakers with Alpine SPS-170A 6 1/2. i cut the wires of the tweets and wired them to the yellow & black wires. the dk blue & lt blue went to the Alpine mids. for the right door ppl & lt grn are the tweets. i also wired in 2 addition Alpine SPS-1005 tweets to the mirror sail covers. for a sub i used a 8" bazooka tube with a built in 200 watt amp. wired it to the l r & rr outputs before the amp & ran power & ground up to the battery. i sacrificed the 2 rear quarter speakers. i was very stoked how killer the system sounds

 

well sweet i want some rockford's in my doors and in the back, all i did to mine system was take the spare tire out and put a 1000 watt 12 ' poineer in there and put the plastic over it so no one could see it, i like it. isnt the bazooka tube wat puts out the low *** bass?? idk wat that realy is...
