You can always mount them on the rear bumper facing to the rear, when you need a little extra push for you car, turn the bass and volume up. The air being pushed out by the subs will push the car forward. LOL

Well that would work for rarified air, but what about the compressed air then? Would that slow you down?

Good point, maybe the car will speed up and slow down depending which way the cone is traveling. Nothing like good vibrations. LOL

wow, you guys have too much time. i got other things more important right now, but i think i will install them. they guys i was hanging out with last weekend had systems in the 5th gens and gto. i guess mine just wont be the typical mullet mobile

im having a hard time finding the wire i need to hook up my amp. would it be ill advised to run the wire, in conduit, under the body and up through the drain in the spare tire well?

I paid $70 for my box, perfect fit off of EBay...I can take pictures if you'd like, I have 2 Kicker 05CVRs with a ZX550.2 amp, it thumps pretty good. Install those damn things already!

can you show me a pic? i made some small boxes (13.5x13.5x10.5), but they dont fit. im going to try and see if i can cut the bottom off to be about 30 degrees so they sit it at an angle and hopefully they will clear the hatch mounts.
