question about amp wiring

Default question about amp wiring

ok i was told wiring the high inputs on an amp for my internal speakers was a bad idea that i should use rca's is this true or was the guy just trying to sell me more stuff??

nope, they are right. Ive always gotten better performance by going with the RCA jacks Pre-Amp level inputs on any Amplifier. Im an old timer, been doing it that way for the better part of 25 years.... I would have thought there'd be some super fancy hi-tech way of doing by now. But if your amp has RCA inputs.... Id use them.

I agree with Scooch here. If your deck and amp have the low-level RCA connections, it is better to use them.

It takes very little extra time to run the RCA's and the difference is noticeable.

Speaker Level Inputs are meant to be used ONLY as a last resource, for example if your source unit don't have RCA pre-amp outputs.
