Default IPod touch audio quality issues after updating to iOS5?

I recently updated my 3rd gen ipod touch to ios 5, and some of my music quality has greatly decreased.
some details
- the songs DO NOT have bad quality
- if i play the same file off itunes the quality is much better
- if i play the song(s) through a usb port (like in my car, or an audio hub) the quality is better
- all songs that I have found with decreased quality are mp3 files, but not all my mp3 files have decreased in quality,
-not all the songs are from the same source
- but its not every song from one source
- i have deleted and re uploaded the song with no success

If anyone has any ideas I would be forever grateful

Not to mention, this should be in the 3rd gen section!
Do you think we could get some Camaro problems solved over at the iPod forum?

Well first off, when you upload music from itunes to your ipod, it converts them from mp3 or whatever format to acc format. And depending on how you set up your itunes, it will convert music to a lower quality to save space if you have it sent up that way. And as always the quality is going to depend on the quality of the speakers and device it's going through and coming out of.

As greenarrow said, it all depends on how your Itunes is set up. Since you just updated it, re-check your settings for uploading/converting music/etc. I'm sure Google would help quite a bit too.
