I don't have a freaking hatch-back
I have a 1994 Camaro Z28 Convertible and it has a trunk and not a hatch-back. Is anyone on here in the same situation and how did you put a sound system in you car.
Do you think this will fit in my car.

You, or someone, preferably with experience, should go out and buy some 3/4 mdf and build yourself a box to the correct specs.
Build it perfectly, and you will enjoy your hard work. Guaranteed, and it will sound 300x better than those garbage pre-fab boxes.

You tell me to post helpful responses in one thread, and you come in another and throw your ignorant "babble" around like you know what you are talking about.
Please, stay away from those pre-fab boxes.

well thanks for the insults, your quite good at it. i also appreciate the explanation on the difference between a quality self built box as opposed to a box purchased from a retailer. i dont know a thing about car audio, i can pull out the old and put in the new, but i am by no means a service technician in this area. i thought i was making it clearn that i was also unsure of my choice, by asking questions about them, im not a sarcastic fool, i know when i need help, i also know that i cant be helped accurately with an item if no one know what the item is. which is why i posted the link. again, thank you for treating me like a civil adult. i appreciate it.

Pre-fab boxes were not made especially with you exact car in mind.
Pre-fab boxes are pre-built, hence the name "pre"
Now for an English lesson.
The suffix "pre" means; Earlier; before; prior to.
This means that it wasn't made for your exact car, or audio needs, and that it was built somewhere else, probably by a machine, and is being shipped to you.
Now, let's see.
A correctly built desgined prefab box will be different for every driver, and car.
If you are desiring SPL then I would recommend a slightly bigger ported box. A ported box will be louder than a sealed box, but it might not sound as clean; And considering sound is subjective, that can be left up to you to decide.
Make sure if you do build a ported box though, to do a good job. A poorly built ported box will almost always blow your speakers, as will playing them at a lowerturning frequencythan the box was built for.
Use common sense for me really quick.
If you had someone build a box to your perfect specs, to fit perfectly in your car, does it not make sense that it would be better than a PRE-built box?
