Anyone here running anything bigger than two 12's? If so, a run down of the setup and pics? I'm trying to figure out a way to fit two 15's or something in there and what I would need to do to upgrade from my 10's.

i still have stalk stereo setup in my 96, waiting till i know what i want to do in the back. but the other day i saw another lt1 that had "taranchula" amplifiers, 2 i believe, taking up the entire trunk and what looked like 2 15'' speakers....but he had no back seats. not for me

 

look dude ima bass head,ima HUGE audiophile i will take my whole car apart to just gain a little more bass, so trust me when i tell you that a decent pair of 12s IS LOUD in a camaro ive got the point in my car where my mph needle goes nuts during my bass with a pair of hx2 punch 12s and a bd1000, o and the needle moving is not from powerloss voltage never dropped below 13.2

 

So your saying i should just upgrade to 12's? The 10's are nice, but its time for an upgrade. They're MA Audios powered by 800w PowerAcoustik amp in a sealed box for those interested. And i'd like to keep my backseats

 

Do you have any pics of how you fit them in there? I wanted to put 2 subs in my car after i upgraded my stereo, but i wasnt sure if i could fit them ehh

 

If you really want i can get pics. It's just a box thats in the trunk area, but it used to be in a truck so its low but long, so its sits on those humps on either side of the trunk and holds itself up. It was a good deal and it looks a little out of place, but gets the job done.

 

im just saying that 15s aren't necessary, invest in an amp first then consider the subs i would get 12s

 

Any names you'd recommend? I'm looking for something that'll hit nice, hard and clear but not spend a lot for the subs and amp.

for a camaro get a sealed box, it will sound clean tight and LOUD even though its sealed because the hatch, also there way cheaper, subs cvr 12s are good for the money but i really like alpine type rs, i would look for a 500-1000 amp for it,kicker,mtx,fosgate, all good choices for amps a 500rms is gonna be like $200 but ebay always has good deals
