im not going to lie to you the best way to get rid of headlight dimming is to first buy a capacitor, then look into the alternator and battery if the problem continues.

Caps are more of a band-aid for a bigger problem... Check the big 3...

To add to your list of good audio companies: R E Adudio and Soundstream. Soundstream is one of the only few companies that made amps that were 1/4 ohm stable.

Y did nobody mention fosgate. IMHO Fosgate is still the best but that doesnt mean i dont love other brands.

Another simple fix for dimming headlamps is to purchase a capacitor and run it inline with your power wire to your amplifier for the subs. It will store up energy when the subs aren't running at full bore and release it when you need some major "thud". Make sure to install it within a few feet of your amplifier, the closer the better. A new alternator and battery can help prevent this from becoming a more serious problem, but if you are running a pretty serious system you NEED a capacitor. Here's a link:

or are u just naysaying?? ive never used one, but ive seen plenty of systems that use capacitors on the larger wattage applications.
