anyone have the wiring diagram or can tell me what color is what for hooking up my cd player in my camaro for htat matter is there a basic blue is this that ext..... or blue means memory if you know what your talk'n about leme know thanks I did mine and my front right wasn't hooked up and my memory isn't on there cause I just said **** try'n to conect all the wires haha thanks guys nick

if it's a blue wire with a white stripe, its your remote wire.. its for hooking up amp's and stuff like that.. If its a solid blue, it may be for a power antenna.. I think the memory should be yellow, but all this may just be in the 4th gen wiring harness.. Thats how it might be on your head unit though..

 

I,ll tell you the best way, get an install kit for your car! it plugs directly into the factory plug, no cutting and at the other end the wires are prestripped, and color coded to match aftermarket decks, oh yeah has the wiring diagram on the back, piece of cake. If you install an amp all you have to hook up is the red (pwr) yellow (memory) black (ground) blue w/white stripe (remote turn/on) and solid blue if you have a pwr antenna, speakers get there signal thru RCA patch cables on the rear of deck, to the imput on amp, well better leave the amp install to experienced tech. hope that helps.
