Default any questions?

hey if anyone has any audio/visual or any interior mod questions for that matter. I own my own company and am able to answer them. I have been installing stereos for about 5 years now, i do all custom work. Including custom subboxes (wood, or fiberglass) custom speaker enclosures. Anything... So if you have any questions i have the info to help you with your install

i will be getting an 88 camaro this week... itl be geraged all winter with the first project being redo the interior... ive got most of the other stuff down.

Now it doesnt have a head unit in it, and i dont know about the speakers.. I have a panasonic head unit that im using now that i want to put in.. and ide obviously like some decent speakers to go with, i dont know about subs, but some type of good speakers that have a nice high to low range.... and can fit in my car....

wondering... is there going to need to be a lot of fabrication to be done to put newer speakers in it? and which ones might you recommend.. i am 18 and will be on a tight budget here..... sooo best speakers for price will help me out.... my headunit puts out 4x50w or so...

hope you can help me.. thank you...

Go with memphis, or if you can scrap up the money then go with jl. Get some 6 x 9's and your set. I used to be all into the car audio scene, then I got tired of it. In fact i'll sell you some subs if you want!

drill on which ever side the battery is located. drill the hole so its not visible inside the car (mines where my carpet covers it up).

dont struggle to find or squeeze a place, just drill a nice neat hole

2 15' Memphis HPO's haven't been played much. 2 12' Memphis HPO's have been played a good bit. 2 memphis 1100 watt class d amps. The 2 15's togethor in a box cost about 700, the amps a piece are 550 = 1100 and the 2 12's new and the box cost me 550. That's like 2350. I'd sell it all to you, plus shipping, for 400... It all works, i'm just soooo tired of bass. Oh yeah, i'd give you all of my wire. I'm running 0 guage from the battery all the way to the back. Which reminds me I also have a batcap and a supercar which I would give you too.

supercap* Bat caps and super caps are like extra abtteries that help to power the amps. If you ask anyone that knows anything about car audio that's an amazing deal i'm giving. I'm just sick of it being back there. The boxes are single boxes with 2 holes cut in them from the factory I guess. When I bought the 15's and the 12's from the local retailer the 15's came in one box with 2 15' holes in it and the 12's in one box with 2 12' holes in them. I live close to birmingham alabama. My set up is very very nice. It sounds extremely loud with what all I have. I have the pioneer avic-n1 headunit which is great for bass control. And I have my roof dynamated. No...But you could order a 1 12' or 1 15' box from one of buddies in kentucky for like 15-25$
