I highly recommend keeping that wire secure and well protected. Don't run it under the car. Keep it issied. Go through the fire wire, if you drill a new whole use a rubber gromment.Then under the carpet but up high and away from the floor. Then over to the door. Remove the molding and run it carefully in there. Then to the back and remove the back seat if you have to. Put a higher guage wire than you need. You may want to put someting else in later that needs more power. Definitely don;t want that thing shorting out on you. You may have to defrost your fingers from time to time. Where I livewe have the opposite problem. Not much fun when it's 110 degrees out. But do it right and safely the first time and you'll be pleased with the outcome. Oh, be sure not to fray or kink the wire during installation and don't put any scres through it. Hope that helps.
