amp problem

hiya, i have a 1000 watt amp w/ 2 subs hooked to it, well recently one of the speaker outing slots stopped working, cuz i can connect eitehr sub to it and they wont work.. what could be the problem

if there aren't any loose wires i would say it is trashed. Sick

It could have a blown diode. What kind of amp is it? Did you try bridging the connection? Did you check the inputs?
