Alpine SPR-17C in the fronts? fit?
Hey guys great forum you guys got going on here.
First time poster.... kinda long time visiter
was wondering if those will replace my factory ones that i have now that seem to be blown
i have a 00' Camaro Coupe, v6 with the Monsoon audio installed
and was hoping to get these... http://www.crutchfield.com/S-2beHZIO...mp;I=500SPR17C
and with the installing instructions it says:
The factory speakers in this location only produce bass. To get full-range sound from your new speakers, you'll need to replace the factory radio with an aftermarket stereo AND bypass the factory amp.
i thought the fronts now were 2 way, so would these work perfectly fine in my car?
thanks a ton guys

Tried to do a little researchand here is what I quickly came up with. This site says that the subs are the speakers located just behind the front seats in the rear passenger rea, so those speakers would work in the doors. Here is the site: http://members.aol.com/kustomz28/Cam...amaroInfo.html

Well there is an easy way to tell. I'd set all your levals, treble &bass both at the same setting in the middle, just so your bass isn't way more powerful than the treble. Play some music and put your ear close to one of the speakers. You should be able to tell if your only getting the middle and low frequencies.
