Default 2002 Camaro Radio

Please help me. I got my boy this car,his friend was taking out the factory radio (delco) to insall a aftermarket, to make a long story short they cut the wiring harrness instead of buying a adaptor (they did not unhook the battery) They said it sparked. I put plug back on and replace a fuse .The radio will come on but i have no sound out of any of the speakers .I have double check the wiring and fuses.Ican hook up the after market (pioneer)with adaptor the pioneer will come on but still no sound. I can hook the pioneer up on work bench and it will play fine.Where is the amp and can it be bad or a fuseable link i am missing. Please help. This is the first time on this form ,I hope i did it right Thanks.

You may have a blowns speaker. There is a safety over ride switch so it doesn't blow the radio. The old radio has the Delco security lock too.

It could have damaged the amp. Dealer can help you with the radio code
