Default Trans Am lights from stock to Halogen

So I saw this on another forum when I googled HIDs on a Trans Am.
Picked up the euro style lenses from LMC Trucks and WOW what a difference.
They come with the pigtails so its plug and play and halogen bulbs

FYI cars have been using halogen lamps since the early 60's.

headlights look good tho, i always prefer the crystal clear lens.

BC lol. I obviously titled the thread wrong I didn't mean halogen like I installed new technology, I just meant getting rid of the ugly single bulky bulb and now having the smaller halogens inside lenses that I can replace with HIDs in the near future.

Are u saying you bought a bulb that let's you r&r the center filament like on a foreign car or a fwd car, instead of replacing the entire bulb?

Unless you were after the different look anyway, there is another way. On the original light, you carefully pry off the bulb portion (it's glued on), then silicone a new replaceable bulb in it's place. Costs a lot less than a complete replacement. This is how I did it on my 4th gens.

It is cheaper that way but I like the look of the clear housing and not that it happens often but its much easier to just pop out the housing and twist out an old bulb and twist in a new one rather then having to glue anything. To me convenience is worth a little $
It comes out to about $160 for all 4 housings from LMC which I thought was pretty good compared to what some other ppl try to charge for euro housings and you can get HIDs online for about $40 bucks. Which I will be doing probably after the winter.
