Lightbulb Thoughts on Sumitomo tires?

I've heard mostly good things about them, anyone on here have actual experience with these?

Thanks!

Im running a set on my wifes 740il. Theyve been on for about 7000 miles now. They are wearing very nicely (evenly). I push them hard on occasion, and theyre decent on grip. The big 7 is a heavy. They have a pretty hard rubber compound so they wear well, but there are tires better suited for aggressive driving. Overall, I like them. theyre quiet enough to roll on the BMW and great in the rain too.

Thanks for the response. I'm considering picking up a set of these, only con I've heard is that they suck in the rain.

I havent noticed any adverse effects in the rain.... of course we dont get much rain here, and when it does rain, its hardly a downpour.... So perhaps theres some truth to them being bad in real rainstorms.

I've found Michillan and Dunlop to be the best handling in dry weather. I don't drive mine in the rain ever. Can't comment on the rain thing. I try to go with American companies, although I know the tires are made overseas. Last I looked, Cooper was the last American made tire if your interested. Didn't mean to get off track Craby.
