So I bought some new rims...
Fronts (18x9.5):
Rears (19x12)
I picked these up for a really, REALLY good price. I know I am going to have some issues with the rears and being able to fit correctly. So far I've seen some threads on people saying that they had to take a BFH to the wheel well and carving up the bumpstop for it. Also heard that some people need to roll fenders for it.
I was just wondering if anyone had links to what needs to be done with pictures showing where and how much to change.
I'm also picking up some great tires at about 1/3 the price today or tomorrow from a friend if everything goes well.

Pic request . OEM 19x12 / 18x10 C6 Z06 wheels on a 4th gen Camaro - LS1TECH
found this
Moser 9-inch rear axle that's fitted with a 4.10 gear and Detroit Locker differential. From there, the power is transmitted via Strange 35-spline axles to a set of genuine 19-inch Corvette Z06 rear wheels. Measuring a whopping 12 inches wide without their corresponding 325-series rubber, it was no small feat to cram them into the Camaro's fenders. But they're in there without the help of mini tubs or anything like that-although the inner fender lips were heavily massaged.

Hmm, a couple of those links have 11 inch rims in them. Hopefully I will get my rubber tonight or tomorrow and be able to do a test fit. If they don't fit, I'll sell them and get something else I want.

i know right. i did a little hammer work just to be sure it didnt rub on corners, i dont think it was needed. the bump stop does rub when car is jacked up by the body so i am going to trim it like it shows in that link. hay you need to post a couple pictures in the rotm thread and get in the race.

I don't feel like I'm on here enough to be a part of the ROTM stuff.
Btw, I'm selling the wheels and tires now. That 12 inch wide rim is going to be a pain in the *** to get to work. I would probably have to cut out the wall that the spring pocket and bump stop are on to get it to fit with spacers and I'm just not feeling it.

10.5" rears would probably fit just fine. I have heater hose mod in the rear and haven't had rubbing issues so far, and I haven't done any BFH or rolled my fenders. As long as the rear end is centered and you're not too lowered, you should be fine.
