I just ordered a set of Nexen N3000 275/40/17 for my ZR1s. They were the best deal out there that I could find. Does anyone know much about them? I don't put on a lot of miles, so I wasn't concerned about elements and daily driving wear. My car is only used for play and nice weather days.

IMO, they are a good street tire and have ok grip. I believe the 555R are the DR's right? For all around driving and performance you can go wrong. But if want more of a track bite then don't get their DR's, I would step up to Mickey Thompsons DR's

I just put a set of BFg g force super sports (actually has super sport on the sidewall) and so far I really like them they do wet roads good because that all the weather been since I got them. Not really loud in road noise when I'm driving.

^ Michelin Pilot Super Sports scored 90 as the BEST UHP tire out there, BFG g-Force Sport tires are only a 76:

Product & Services | Ratings & Reviews - Consumer Reports

CR says this about your BFG g-Force Sports:

CR's Take
A very good choice for those who place priority on dry performance.

Highs
Impressive dry handling and braking.

Lows
So-so wet handling and noisy. Fair tread life, but competitive among summer UHP tires.
