Hi all,
I've got a '93 LT1 and all four of the center caps on the wheels are loose. I lost one the other day and bought a used one on ebay to replace it.
Anyone have any suggestions for a way to tighten them up without throwing the balance off on the tires? Scared I'm going to start losing
more caps soon.

 

see if you can find o rings the same size to replace the old ones.

 

Might have to just buy new ones. The clips are known for breaking off.

 

I didn't realize they had O-Rings on them? Maybe that's why mine are so loose because they are gone?

The clips are still there, just worn I guess because they are still on but very loose and I lost one a couple months ago.

 

its been so long from having stock wheels I was thinking they had o rings like my Boyd Coddington wheels.

 

No O-rings that I'm aware of. If they are loose, then the plastic clips must be pretty worn or broken off. I would just look for some used replacements, like checking a local salvage yard.
