first off, most people throw the word "billet" around way to freely. they think anything shiney that isn't chrome, is billet

a "billet" piece is anything machined out of a solid "billet" of aluminum (or some other forged metal), and it is usually 6061-T6.

probably all you are looking at on that car, is a piece of cheaply coated plastic. it looks like crap and it should be saved for the ricers (although they shouldn't use it either)

lastly, if you put something like that on your car, it will stick out like a sore thumb because it doesn't go with anything else on you Camaro
