Default Best spacers

Hello Camaro Forum. I'm new to the forum and still finding my way around. So please direct me to the thread if this information has already been posted. I recently purchased a 2001, V6 5 speed and found a killer deal on some Z06 wheels (17x9 / 18x10.5). I'm pretty sure I'll need some spacers for the rear and was wonder if anyone could recommend a brand to get (or not get). I see lots of them listed on eBay, at lots of different price points. But I'm more interested in safety, security, and ride quality than price. So I'd much appreciate any information that anyone can impart.

THANKS!!

I don't think you will need spacers unless you have really wide tires, my 2001 SS has the same size wheels Z06 style with 285/35-18 inch on the back.

I am fitting a set of 315's on the back here shortly with longer lug studs and 22 mm spacers

Ok cool, thanks for the info. The wheels currently have 295 35 18's on them now, so I can at least check that fitment with out having to mount something else. I was just under the impression that a Corvette wheel would pretty much require a spacer. But thanks again for the info!!

295 tire might be borderline, make sure the rear end is supported and not hanging down or the wheels might hit the bump stops. It's worth a try. I am working out of town at the moment but when I get home this weekend I could give you the part numbers of the spacers in the ARP lug studs I am using.
This is my car with 18" Z06 style wheels (9.5" front and 10.5" rear), lowered 1 1/2" and 285/35 rear tires currently (no spacers).
