98 Camaro Headlight Replacement (just need help w 2 wires)
I found a very helpful article with the search to help me out:
https://camaroforums.com/m_91361/tm.htm
using that, I was able to get these lights into my car
only thing is, theres these 2 wires (you can see them in the pic above).. a blue one and a black one, that have no caps on the ends or anything, it just exposes the core of the wires at each end. I am not sure what to do with them.
Im assuming this is the wiring for the Halos but I dont know what to do exactly.
Could someone please help?

One way to find out... Hook the blue to the positive side of the battery, and the black to ground. Whatever the wires are hooked to will come on. If it is the halo's (which I'm assuming it is), it all depends on when you want them on, as to what you do with them. Let us know and we'll help you out.
Yep, theyre the halos. Only thing is, I do want them as daytime running, but how long would they last if I did that? On these they "claim" its
FEATURED WITH CCFL - COLD CATHODE FLUORESCENT LIGHTING
( MOST ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY OF HALO RINGS DEVELOPMENT WHICH MAKES IT 2x BRIGHTER & 4x LONGER LASTING THAN LED HALO )
but I dont know if most already come like that or not...

You should be able to "tap" the power going to the amber signal lights. They should be lit all the time normally. They should have three wires: blue (power when signaling), brown (constant power), and black (ground). You couldhook the halo power to the brown wire, and the halo ground to the black wire. If you don't want to do that, then I would recommend hooking up a toggle switch to turn them on/off. As for how long they last... I would hope a long time, as I would imagine a replacement would be difficult to find.
Ugh be careful with these headlights, they are literally fragile in every way. I just installed mine today after they came in, I wait until nightfall, go to aim them turn the top screw on the left once and SNAP the housing of the screws on the headlight itself holding on the adjustment bracket shatter making the healdight level off violently and the CCFL Halo rings stopped on that light, so now I get the joy of trying to get a RMA number and return this defected item :/. To get on topic here I rigged my halo's into my foglight switch, works well enough for me considering my foglights were out anywho haha.
P.S. The low beam on the right side I could never get aimed right, the adjustment screws are very crappy and as I said very fragile, but the hi-beams are like God's flashlight.

wow, these are pretty different from most halo's i've seen for camaro. Where did you find them, and do you have any pics with the lights installed? I really wouldnt mine seeing that.. they look pretty cool.
Here ya go Bill, meh couldn't find my dig camera so I had to use my phones camera haha, so the resolutions not to great but you can get the general idea. I also have the black corner lens' installed under the headlight to replace the orange ones.

Thanks for the help StanGT. Oh and Stanardo. Thankfully the lights and halos all work on mines but have you noticed any problems with the projection beams? seems that if I have it perfectly flushed with the headlight holes the beams point to the ground about 5-8 feet ahead of me. In order to get the beams to a reasonable level I had to adjust the lights so that there is gaps between the frame of my car and the headlight. I will try to get a pic of it up close tomorrow to show what Im talking about. Otherwise yeah they look great for night / day driving
