Question 17inch rims fitment

So about a week ago I got some 17x10 rims with nitto's nt555 off ebay for $225. but I only got back rims. I've found some identical rims that are 17x8 with +19mm offset. would these work for the front end or do I have to go with 17x9 for the front rims?

Also I was wondering if 255/50/zr17 tires would work to replace the 315/35/zr17 that are on the back rims.

^ The quickest way is to call a tire place like Discount Tire who has a nice lookup for all this stuff...

I don't have the cash for the rims anyway so I don't need a quick way to find out. I'd rather find out from someone thats already tried this.

Either or will work. I'm not sure on the offset....gotta see if I can find my wheel guide for our cars again.

You can put the 255s on back...but I'd personally stick with the 315s. You'll be happier.

As much as I love to stick with the 315s. My car is a v6 so 315s are a bit overkill for her. although she surprised the hell out of me when she managed to spin the 315s. plus I don't want to be stuck paying $400 for back tires every 15k miles. plus I plan on running my car in autocross and road course so no need for drag radials.

I know +19mm will have the rims just at the fenderwell. Because thats what the back rims are. but if the 17x8 rims will work then I'll save the $10 and go for those.

Double check me first. I'm pretty sure they'll fit fine but without my wheel guide for our cars I'm trying to go off memory.

yeah but the closest I can tell that someone is coming to my rims is 17x8.5. Still leaves me with a maybe the 17x8 rims will fit up front.

Not the one I used to look at it, but should answer your questions.
