Question 17" Wheel Suggestions? Shiny ones

I am in the market for new wheels, my RS' 16" wheels chrome has been destroyed by the midwest salts and corrosion means constantly refilling air due to leaking edges.

I would like a 17" set to get a little more performance and one that is shiny like chrome, but has some longevity for winter salts. Any suggestions? ZR1 style is nice...

Zr1 or c5 zo6 are nice. I love my stock silver zr1s on my 98 I'm personally not into chrome rims on 4th gens. They are the classic torque thrusts or I like the fiske wheels the Berger cars had.

Forgot to mention, pictures are required with your post! Else this thread is useless!

Budget -- well, nothing too crazy for the year-round V6 daily driver, ideally summer rubber and four wheels for around a grand would be ideal...

We live in the same area. Here in the salt belt, I wouldn't put any nice wheel that I spend good money on for a winter driven car.
Save your old wheels and put on some winter tires, and use the nice pretty new wheels and tires for the summer.

I like Torque Thrust II ,for Spring and summer ,GM Ralleys or slots 15 x7 for Fall and Winter So you can mount snow tires if need be.

Agreed on the Z06 & ZR1 wheels. Got to find non chrome if they're going to stay on year-round, but still shiny versions... Have a pic of the Fikses you like?

The Tq Thrusts do nothing for me

Are these the Fikses (Profil 5S)?
