Default would it be smart if i put a v8

I'm thinking about getting a v6 Camaro then dropping a v8 engine in it, is that a bad idea or a good idea?

Just buy a V8 if that is going to be your plan from the beginning. I see no reason to do it the way you describe...

You can save up to 15% or moreby signing up with Geico.
Is the difference in rates really enough to warrant all that extra work? Assuming that is your actual reason.
