wiring a tach

Default wiring a tach

ive got a tach, from sunpro, and ive got all the wired hooked up except the wire that controls the rpms, can anyone tell me which wire do i tap into in the computer?

neg. coil side, or tach signal wire... you can also tap into the computer somehow, but i chose the tach signal wire (more accurate....)

yea ik i have to tap into tha tach signal wire, but which one is that? the paper that came with the tach says tap into pin id 8, its a white wire, i did that and it doesnt wrk.... idk....??????

on my 95 it was behind the passenger side kick panel under the glove box in plug c230 blue wire

well the sheet that came with it tld me i have to hook it into the white wire pin id 8 thats coming from te PCM behind the passenger side strut tower
